The Centre was established in 2008 with the aim of providing space for meetings between surviving victims of Nazism and their peers as well as with members of younger generations, who care about the fates of persons persecuted under the Nazi regime. Our efforts focus on sharing the historical experience of war survivors, on recognising their fate, and on documenting their personal stories.  The Centre includes a space where visitors can talk over coffee or tea as well as take part in various educational activities along with cultural and social programmes.  The Centre also offers lecture programmes given by survivors of Nazism for schools and for the public.  Since early 2009 the Centre’s activities have been gradually expanded to regions outside Prague, specifically to the České Budějovice, Olomouc, Ostrava and Ústí nad Labem areas.
